VIDEO: Effective neuro-ophthalmic treatment a ‘team sport’

ORLANDO — In this Healio Video Perspective from Telling It Like It Is, Andrew G. Lee, MD, explains why a team approach is needed for neuro-ophthalmic conditions.

According to Lee, conditions involving the eyelid, pupil or ocular motility should be addressed by a neurologist, a neuro-ophthalmologist, a neuroradiologist and a neurosurgeon, making treatment a “team sport.”

“You need to have a team, and you need to make that team now before you actually need them,” he said.
