Healio has launched the Healio Community platform to empower and connect professionals in health care.

Health care professionals must navigate intense workloads and demanding schedules, which can leave them feeling isolated, Healio said in a press release, adding that Healio Community will offer a supportive, safe space to connect with each other and access resources that were designed to help them thrive both professionally and personally.

The new resource, designed to support the holistic well-being of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioner and other advanced practice professionals, aims to create an improved sense of community in medicine while also addressing individual needs.

The wellness of health care professionals “often takes a backseat” as they “dedicate their lives to helping others,” Joan-Marie Stiglich, chief content officer and chief strategic alliance + KOL officer at Healio, said in the release.

“Healio Community was created to change that narrative.”

Joining a clinician-first mindset and user-friendly technology, Healio Community will include several key features: a mentorship program to connect those seeking guidance with more seasoned professionals; career growth opportunities via a job board that has been curated to connect professionals with new roles aligned with their expertise and future goals; and dedicated spaces such as groups and forums for meaningful discussion on important topics like mental health, financial literacy, fitness and nutrition.

The platform, which was designed with input from health care professionals, is now accessible at Healio.com/Community.
