Shelby Johnson obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 2017 as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. Upon completion of a Pediatrics/Primary Care Residency also at UC Berkeley, she joined SUNY College of Optometry as faculty in the Pediatrics, Infant, Disabilities, and Myopia Management clinics. She currently holds the positions of Associate Clinical Professor and Section Chief of Pediatrics. In October 2023, she was awarded with UC Berkeley Optometry’s Inaugural “40 Under 40” Award.
