VIDEO: Triamcinolone acetonide has good real-world results in uveitic macular edema

CHICAGO — In this Healio Video Perspective from Retina Subspecialty Day at the AAO meeting, Glenn C. Yiu, MD, PhD, of University of California, Davis, discusses suprachoroidal triamcinolone acetonide for uveitic macular edema.

Data from the IRIS Registry show that triamcinolone acetonide “performs very well in real-world settings” to treat patients with the condition, he said.

Yiu also shared pearls on proper injection delivery.
