CHICAGO — In this Healio Video Perspective from Uveitis Subspecialty Day at the AAO meeting, Judy L. Chen, MD, of the Stein Eye Institute and Doheny Eye Center at UCLA, shares pearls on uveitic glaucoma.
According to Chen, uveitic glaucoma often presents in younger patients, making treatment “particularly challenging.”
“It’s a complication that leads to the highest rates of permanent vision loss in our uveitis patients,” she said. “Overall, this is a very complex condition to treat.”
